Kitulo National Park
Discover Alpine wildflower meadows

Kitulo National Park, often called the “Garden of God,” is a highland paradise on the southern Tanzanian plateau. Unlike Tanzania’s more famous savannah parks, Kitulo is all about flowers, birds, and quiet, open landscapes.

Between December and April, the rolling grasslands burst into a spectacular bloom of wildflowers, creating a vivid mosaic that feels almost magical. Beyond its floral beauty, the park is home to endemic birds, small mammals, rare orchids, and waterfalls, making it an interesting escape for nature lovers and photographers.
