Arusha National Park

Mountains, Lakes, and Adventure

Arusha National Park may be small, but it packs a surprising punch. Just a short drive from the city of Arusha, it offers a diverse mix of landscapes — from the dramatic slopes of Mount Meru to the crater lakes and lush forests that are home to zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and the rare Black and White Colobus Monkeys.

One of the park’s unique charms is how accessible it is and how easy it is to combine game drives with a little more adventure. There’s a mix of hiking, canoeing, and walking safaris that let you explore the park on foot or paddle through serene crater lakes.
